L1 is 10 to 30 turns of 24 or 26 gauge (thickness) wire.
Q1 is a IRF840 MOSFET transistor.
This device’s magnetic output is a fraction of a Tesla, which isn’t nearly enough to destroy most electronic devices. However, this circuit can be modified to have a much greater output and it serves as a demonstration of the principle.For schematics please check the uploads
